Meet the Trainer
Olivia & Co
Hey y'all! My name is Olivia, the owner and trainer for Brazen K-9 LLC. To jump right into it- I really love dogs and training is my passion. Nothing makes me happier than transforming the lives of both people and their dogs by helping them achieve their training goals and building a solid relationship.
I grew up with a variety of pets- other than having multiple dogs, I also had some farm animals and even a few lizards too! Understanding and caring for animals has always been my main interest. I've measured my life with dogs- always looking back on certain times and memories by what dog(s) kept my heart during that time. I have been truly blessed with some exceptional dogs in my life.
Other than growing up with many pets, I also have extensive hands-on experience in many branches of the animal service world. I completed a multi-year internship at a local veterinary office, worked for dog boarding/daycare/rehab centers, shadowed under multiple trainers, and have worked privately for other training companies and dog breeders.
I have a love of working breeds-everything from terriers to retrievers to herders. My favorites are Dutch Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and German Shepherds. Despite shepherds having my heart, I thoroughly enjoy working with and helping all breeds- after all variety is the spice of life! Through my years of working with dogs I have found that a good dog is a blessing, and I love to honor them by helping them achieve their full potential.
Brazen K-9 Team & Mission
You'll notice on my website, social media, texts and etc. I always reference a "we". Brazen K-9 wouldn't be possible without my own personal dogs and my boyfriend! Our pack makes training a truly well rounded experience for dogs and makes it possible for me to safely expose dogs to other well trained dogs and provide plenty of distractions. My boyfriend steps in to provide some obedience distractions and an encouraging word as well. We all work together to transform a dog into a capable and confident pet that can tackle everyday life with you!
We believe that all dogs deserve to live their lives with the appropriate balance of structure and freedom, as well as fulfillment. We also want our graduates to be "shamelessly bold"- or BRAZEN! We know that training should be a better experience than dropping your dog off at a big facility with rows of barking dogs in kennels. We say ditch the big training facilities with little individualized training and lack of quality control due to having too many dogs and trainers!
Brazen K-9 strives to provide an exclusive and customized dog training experience that brings peace of mind, convenience, and long lasting results.
I also have to say a special thanks to my Juno, my very first shepherd, for teaching me all about being Brazen and for inspiring me to pursue my dog training dreams!
